Wick-Theory LLC wants customers to enjoy our candles responsibly.

Candles contain an open flame and can cause burns, fire, serious injury, death, or property damage when used improperly.

Always read and follow the warning label and instructions supplied with your Wick-Theory candle.

BEFORE BURNING

Before lighting your candle:

Read all warning labels and instructions;
Place the candle on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface;
Keep the candle away from flammable materials;
Keep the candle away from drafts, vents, fans, and strong air currents;
Keep the wax free from matches, wick trimmings, and other debris;
Inspect the container for cracks or damage; and
Trim the wick according to the instructions provided with your candle.

Do not burn a candle in a cracked, chipped, damaged, or otherwise unsafe container.

WHILE BURNING

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

While your candle is burning:

Keep it within sight;
Keep it away from children and pets;
Keep it away from curtains, bedding, paper, decorations, furniture, and other combustible materials;
Do not touch or move the candle while the wax is liquid or the container is hot;
Do not place a burning candle near another heat source;
Do not allow wick trimmings or debris to enter the wax;
Do not use the candle in an area where it may be knocked over; and
Follow any maximum burn-time instructions provided with the candle.

The candle container may become hot during use.

EXTINGUISHING YOUR CANDLE

Use an appropriate method to extinguish your candle.

Never use water to extinguish a candle. Water may cause hot wax to splatter and may damage or break a hot container.

Make sure the flame is completely extinguished before leaving the area.

Do not touch or move the candle until the wax and container have cooled.

WHEN TO STOP USING A CANDLE

Discontinue use according to the warning label or product-specific instructions supplied with your candle.

Do not continue burning a candle if:

The container becomes cracked or damaged;
The flame behaves abnormally;
The candle becomes unsafe to use; or
Continuing use would conflict with the product's warning instructions.

Never attempt to burn all remaining wax merely to completely empty the container.

CHILDREN AND PETS

Candles should always be stored and burned out of the reach of children and pets.

Never allow a child to light, handle, extinguish, or play near a burning candle without appropriate adult supervision.

FRAGRANCE SENSITIVITY

Fragrance products may affect individuals differently.

If you experience discomfort or an adverse reaction while using a scented Wick-Theory product, discontinue use.

Individuals with known fragrance sensitivities, allergies, asthma, respiratory concerns, or other relevant conditions should consider their individual circumstances before using scented products and seek appropriate professional advice when needed.

CONTAINER SAFETY

Candle containers can become hot.

Never handle a hot candle container with bare hands. Allow the candle to cool completely before touching or moving it.

Do not reuse a candle container for purposes for which it is not suitable.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS

Different Wick-Theory products may require different care instructions.

The warning label and product-specific instructions supplied with your candle take priority over general guidance on this page.

Always follow the instructions accompanying the particular product you purchased.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for using Wick-Theory candles responsibly and according to applicable product warnings and instructions.

Failure to follow candle safety instructions can result in fire, burns, personal injury, or property damage.

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Return and Refund Policy

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Wick-Theory LLC, we want customers to receive products in the condition and quality expected.

This Return & Refund Policy applies to eligible purchases made directly through www.wick-theory.com.

1. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.

If you receive an item that is:

Damaged during shipment;
Defective;
Incorrect; or
Missing from your shipment,

please contact us at Support@wick-theory.com as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.

Please include:

Your name;
Order number;
Description of the issue; and
Clear photographs of the product and packaging when applicable.

We may request additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

After reviewing the claim, Wick-Theory may offer an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement or refund.

2. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

Except where otherwise stated on the product page or required by law, unused and unopened standard products may be eligible for return if Wick-Theory authorizes the return.

Before returning a product, contact Support@wick-theory.com for authorization and instructions.

Products should not be returned without first contacting Wick-Theory.

Returned products must ordinarily be:

Unused;
Unburned;
In their original condition; and
In their original packaging where reasonably possible.

Products showing evidence of use, burning, alteration, misuse, or customer-caused damage may not qualify for a voluntary return.

3. NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

Except where required by law or where a product arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, the following may be ineligible for voluntary returns:

Used or burned candles;
Customized or personalized products;
Products damaged after delivery through misuse;
Gift cards;
Final-sale merchandise identified as such before purchase; and
Other products identified as non-returnable before purchase.

4. REFUND PROCESSING

Once Wick-Theory approves a voluntary refund, we will process the refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

After we submit the refund, your bank, credit-card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit to your account. These third-party processing times are outside Wick-Theory's control.

Where California or federal law requires a refund to be issued within a shorter period, the legally required period will apply instead of the 5–10 business-day period.

5. SHIPPING CHARGES

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable for voluntary change-of-mind returns unless otherwise stated or required by law.

If Wick-Theory shipped an incorrect, defective, or damaged product and a refund of shipping charges is required by applicable law or approved as part of the remedy, the applicable shipping amount will also be refunded.

6. RETURN SHIPPING

Unless a product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or Wick-Theory agrees otherwise, customers may be responsible for the cost of returning an eligible product.

Wick-Theory will provide instructions when a return is authorized.

7. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Contact Support@wick-theory.com promptly if you need to cancel an order.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests received before an order enters fulfillment or ships.

Once an order has entered production, processing, packaging, or shipment, cancellation may no longer be possible.

This section does not restrict cancellation rights provided by applicable law.

8. LOST OR MISSING PACKAGES

If tracking indicates that your order was delivered but you cannot locate it, please check the delivery location, household members, neighbors where appropriate, and information supplied by the carrier.

Lost-package claims will be evaluated based on the circumstances, carrier information, and applicable law.

9. REFUNDS REQUIRED BY LAW

Nothing in this policy limits rights provided by California or federal consumer-protection law.

Where applicable law requires Wick-Theory to cancel an order, provide a refund, reimburse shipping charges, or provide another remedy, Wick-Theory will follow the applicable legal requirement regardless of a conflicting provision in this voluntary return policy.
